Regulate the pituitary gland's function, especially its progesterone and prolactin functions. and to have a considerable influence on the bodies hormonal balance, normalizing it by enabling greater or lesser hormone release to occur and to normalize gland function in both men and women.
Studies have shown that the progesterone hormone plays a key role in conception, and for sustaining a pregnancy. It was concluded that low progesterone levels may be associated with the thinning of the uterine lining during pregnancy, corpus luteum insufficiency, and luteal phase defects, the main causes of infertility and miscarriages. However, there are conflicting opinions on the use of Chaste Tree extracts during pregnancy and you should consult your healthcare provider before using this herbal supplement.
Used to regulate female hormone levels it normalizes hormone levels and helps to regulate menstrual cycles, treating amenorrhea (absence of menstruation), dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation) and endometriosis. Declining hormone levels in the years up to and after menopause can cause hot flashes, sweating, vaginal dryness and even mild depression, Chaste Tree works to stabilize these hormone levels and can be very beneficial in controlling the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. Marked improvement in anxiety, mood swings, nervous tension and other psychological symptoms.
Used for uterine healing after childbirth, ovarian cysts, and re-balancing after discontinued use of the contraceptive pill. The birth control pills seriously change your hormone levels to prevent conception. With Chaste Tree, you can help restore the levels that encourage conception. Caution: Taking Chaste Tree with birth control pills might decrease the effectiveness of the contraceptive. If you take Chaste Tree along with birth control pills, use an additional form of birth control, such as a condom.
Effective in the treatment of yeast infections. For women, the presence of yeast infections can reduce the chances of conception. Thus taking care of this infection is the first step in the right direction for conception.
Men use this for impotence, enlarged prostate, and swollen testicles.
